Low Flow Devices
There are several water using devices in the home or office that may be in a low flow situation when using a salt free water softener.
The effects the magnetics has on the water fades after 48 hours, so if
you have an item that can't move enough water, you may want to put a
Mini Unit booster on assure freshly treated water enters the device.
Some examples:
- Guest or Spare Bathroom Toilet and Sink
- Ice Maker on the fridge
- Dishwasher
- Plumbed Coffee Maker

Will things get worse before they get better as far as calcium build-up on your fixtures?
That depends on how long and how much scale is built up in your pipes.
A new home or one with new plumbing and a new hot water tank will not see an increase in negative effects.
A home with a lot of scale build-up may take many months for the Magnetic Water Softener to clean out.
This may appear to
be getting worse, not better and it's very common. You may even have
small pieces of scale plugging up your faucet aeraitors and shower
heads.
