This set is made for houses using instantaneous or on demand hot water and up to 1" ID lines! It includes 2 Standard devices that are usually put on your pipes in just minutes. 2 magnetic water treatment units are installed on the cold water pipe where it comes into your home. Since you are not storing and heating water in the big tank, you don't need the 3rd unit to re-magnetize that water.
